It doesn't say what part of San Antonio. I used to live in the Randolph Air Force Base area.

According to the homeowner, he had argued with the men earlier that evening, and he feared the two would return.
I wonder what this was about? Did the homeowner run in the same circle as these guys?

Its not. Risk of getting shot is only part of the problem. If caught, it is 20 years if you do it during the daytime, and up to 99 years if you do it at night.

There are better ways to make a living, even for the BGs.

Good for the home owner, even better for the BG's.

A happy ending! One bad guy dead and the other may wind up that way when he's charged with the murder of his accomplice!

    +1 for the homeowner.

DDave, says southside. There are some rough areas on the southside.

I always tried to avoid the southside when I could.

From the details given, it sounds like a good shoot. Obviously, a home invasion with a knife as your weapon can have unpleasant results.

This homeowner had no choice but to defend himself and family.
The fact that he made a dead offender out of a repeat offender is to be applauded.
