ORLANDO, Fla. -- A 27-year-old man accidentally shot himself in the groin while removing a gun from his waistband so he could go to the bathroom, according to Orlando police.
Edwin Xavier Rameriz-Figueora shot himself on Friday afternoon in the 700 block of Thalia Drive, and he was taken to Florida Hospital East, an Orlando Police Department Event Sheet shows.
According to police, the gun discharged as Rameriz-Figueora was preparing to go to the bathroom and a bullet went through his groin area.
A friend took Rameriz-Figueora to the hospital, police said. His condition is not known.

Soooo.........was he carrying legally? I'm assuming so at this point. What sort of "gun", and had he been doing his own gunsmithing, or did he have it in a holster at all? Did this in his own house, or in public somewhere? Inquiring minds want to know.
Looking at things from my twisted point of view....some folks shouldn't be allowed to drive a vehicle either. It is what it is, and I'm sure this idget is paying in some way for his ignorance or stupidity. I'm glad he shot himself and nobody else 'accidentally'.
They always said he was a crappy shot!
Ccccccc what? Ccccccccccc Hawks!
The victim's name has been changed to Edwinette.

No Guns, No Safety, No Peace.
Did he do a double tap?
When removing a gun from a holster, or a waistband, you do not put your finger near the trigger! What is so hard to understand?
