Good : Potential Victim Thwarts Robbers!
This is from the Police Blotter in our local Liberal Rag commonly known as the Herald-Dispatch. I love it!
ATTEMPTED ARMED ROBBERY: A 53-year-old man reported that he was getting out of his vehicle at about 12:45 a.m. Nov. 7, in the 300 block of 5th Avenue, when he was approached from behind by two men demanding money and a wallet.
When the victim turned around, he told police, one of the two suspects had a large knife, but they fled toward the railroad tracks. The victim said he thinks they fled because they saw that he was carrying a gun in his belt. The two men were black, wearing toboggans, dark jackets and tan work boots
