    Guy runs a burglar off yesterday with a shovel to the head. Supposedly the same guy came back for revenge today.
    We're all in favor of reducing violent crime. It's just that pro-gunners have a method that is proven effective. Anti-gunners don't.

    One reason to take advantage of Castle Laws? Although even if he does tell no tale, his homies could also cause problems. Never a good situation I guess.

    Skip the shovel and get that man a proper weapon...

    I prefer hearing stories of homeowners lopping off limbs of intruders with katanas and the like. Though they're a lot messier than shovels...

    remove a limb with that and usually you do not have repeat offenders..... Good plan!

    This is exactly why making repeat offenders...dead offenders is so important.IMHO

    I don't know. Sharpen that shovel and turn it sideways, and it's a broad bladed spear. I've heard of people, snakes, and black bear getting chopped up pretty good. Both slash and stab.
