They haven't always been funny little people and that's what's so sad. Winston Churchill must be turning over in his grave.

I guess they never heard the phrase 'It cuts both ways'. I kinda' wonder what they’ll do with lead crystal candleholders and fire place stokers.

Same thing happened to me here in Germany. I whipped out a tiny Böker Subcom with 1 7/8" blade to open a letter and people looked at me as if I just whipped out Rambo's knife or the devil itself from my pocket.

Treat everyone in the country like they belong in an insane asylum. Take away everything that they could hurt themselves or anyone else with!

Right... Lets see, butter knives, pens, pencils, tools, scissors, letter openers, etc., etc. you get the picture.

Yet the BG will still have something with which to kill someone!

I think the topic did come up a couple years ago.

Do the Brits really have that many dinner party knife massacres?

I wouldn't be so sure. There are already several pockets of similar madness right here in the land of the free and a significant number of school children being fed a steady diet of this kind of thinking to ensure that they don't grow up thinking and acting like us. I expect to be dead before it happens but I believe it will happen.

Why are the Britts still allowed to have edged metal or anything that can cut? I don't believe they will be safe until they outlaw all kitchen utensils except for spoons and soft spatulas. I'm afraid the other kitchen implements are far too dangerous.

I guess the criminals won't be able to find a stick to sharpen with that knife or a stone to grind a point onto the knife.
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

Im glad the UK is the test bed for all Liberal mommy nana state projects. It lets us Americans know how retarted they are and how stupid we'd be if we adopted those same idiot ideas.

Im gonna start buying knives from walmart for cheap, throw em on my bench grinder, and then sell them as cut proof and stab proof knives.

    I will make a killing!

This is sad, pathetic, and in my opinion setting that country back hundreds of years.

Waiting for them to invent fire that wont burn you. You know, in case of arsonists.

I wouldn't consider the UK safe until the citizens/subjects over there have their gun ownership rights restored again as well as their right to use a gun for self-defense. A stab resistant vest is not enough.
