interesting they got their 3:00 PM and didn't do anything till 3:45 PM. If it was an invasion that is 45 min minutes the invaders could have had their way with the occupants

This happened between 3:00pm and 3:45pm:

…” When they could not make contact with the man, police cordoned off the area and evacuated nearby homes as a precaution.”…

The reporting is bizarre....What parent is prepping their kid for school at 3:45AM?!

When they could not make contact with the man, police cordoned off the area and evacuated nearby homes as a precaution.

Around 3:45 a.m. the man walked out of the house holding the weapon.

..."It feels unsafe," said Harold Gray, who saw the police activity while taking his child to school. "It feels very unsafe."
More info and much better writing is required.

Who takes their child to school at 3:45-4:00am?

    A story without a story...

I guess we'll find out the story with an 'update'.

With bussing instead of neighborhood schools, it's possible. Kids in Charlotte used to have to be at bus stops crazy early to get bussed across town. Looks like they are going back to it too.

The man who came out if the home with the long gun couldn't be the homeowner (victim of the alleged home invasion) could it??? article said they could not make contact with him??? sounds like possibility for lots of big errors.
