Chuck E Cheese robbed by masked gunmen

Sorry if this is old news to the forum but I just saw this on CNN now.

Well, here's a nice pickle. The ChuckECheese I take my daughter to in AZ has a no guns policy.

And what a hellish place to contemplate a gun battle...kids all around...I'm thinking this actually ended 'well' in that no one was hurt at least.

I hate stores that put up their "come on in bad guys no good guys in here are armed." signs.... It honestly makes me wonder if they have become stupid or were born stupid. Either way it costs innocent lives, and makes me very mad.

Do they sell stuff? Do they have a cash register? Are their employees armed?
Sounds like a perfect place to try and rob...

Wow. They hit it during peak business hours on a weekend, and rounded everyone up into a storage room.

What next? Day care centers? Retirement homes?

there is no money in day care centers and retirement homes...chucky cheese is rich with pockets full of cash for tokens and meals...and not a care in the world except for the safety of the children...which would curb many peoples resistance as it is a target rich environment for bad guys....

just look at the reaction here...a group of people who say anywhere anytime all of the time yet are surprised that a chucky cheese got hit...hmmmm...

Well planned, apparently. Probably a previous employee involved (guess). Fortunately, it did not end up a hostage situation. Also, apprently, the patrons were not robbed, just the business... semi professional job?

Certainly no easy response from any CCW holders, including LEOs, that might have been there...

My suspicion is that the BGs will get greedy and do it again, and again, until they get caught.
    It could be worse.

Geez, I'm not sure I could have started shooting unless they started first. Waaayyy too much liability with all those kids.

That's what I'm saying... I really worry about being taken to the "second location" but with all those kids around, what could you do? The second news link says the BGs didn't get any cash... So, they're planning another one they hope to be successful with. And they were "professional" enough to know they had to get in and out in <3 minutes (response time).

Next time, will they take away the cel phones?

That is when you take your kids and hunker down behind a video game and only shoot if there is a direct threat on your life or theirs. Could not live with myself being all vigilante like and killing someone elses child directly or indirectly.

My thoughts exactly. I would just avoid places like that, unfortunately my fiances' daughter loves going there for her birthdays.

the only way to avoid places that could be targeted for robbery would be to stay home....and even that has its risks...where so you go that you feel you are less likely to have a situation like that?...
