    Police release sketch of Dunwoody murder suspect

    http://www.ajc.com/news/dekalb/polic...of-745489.html

    Dunwoody police said Sneiderman, 36, was getting into this car Thursday morning when a man approached and shot him several times.

    The shooting was not random, police have concluded. Investigators have spent the day interviewing friends, family and business associates hoping to develop a motive for the killing. So far, they have none.

    Whichever it was, "organized" or pro hit, the shooter picked a place where a lawful 'defensive carrier' might tend to have his guard down with the regulations around carry in proximity to schools. That's a new twist.

    Even if that was the case,by the time he shot the target and then left the scene,I seriously doubt if most people who CCW would be able to figure out who,what,where,and why,before the suspect had fled the scene in time to react.

    Look for his clients that lost the most money from his financial advice would be a good start since he advised many "high end" individuals. Tragic for the the friends and family I hope they find the gunman then the guy that hired him and let the bgs hold hands in electric chairs beside eachother.

    Even when armed, if someone is out to get you...makes the plans...it's hard to defend against.

    I'm not 100% sure, but I think that's Paul Bunyan.

    UPDATE: Man killed outside day care center; suspect arrested

    http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/01/05/...ex.html?hpt=T2

    Police in Dunwoody, Georgia, have arrested a man in the killing of a father outside his 2-year-old son's day care center.

    Hemy Zvi Neuman, 48, is charged with murder in the death of Russell "Rusty" Sneiderman on November 18. Sneiderman was shot multiple times in the parking lot of Dunwoody Prep after dropping off his son, in what police have described as an apparent "cold and calculated murder."

    Neuman is scheduled to make his first court appearance Wednesday in DeKalb County Magistrates Court.

    Police have not given a possible motive for Neuman nor said whether he and Sneiderman knew each other. The investigation is ongoing, police said.

    Witnesses to the shooting told police a man came up from behind Sneiderman, opened fire, and shot him multiple times. They said the shooter then got away in a silver minivan that didn't have a license plate.

    Sneiderman's killing shocked and perplexed many in the community. The married father of two "was murdered. No one should ever have to face that," said his brother Steven Sneiderman at the time. "Our family has been devastated. My niece and nephew will never know their father. My sister-in-law has had an entire lifetime of dreams ripped from her. Our whole family has lost its brightest light, and we don't know why."

    The family offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.

    Sneiderman, 36, was a Cleveland, Ohio, native, a Harvard MBA graduate, and an active volunteer with the Georgia chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, CNN affiliate WSB reported.

    A week before his death, police said, Sneiderman called police to report a suspicious person behind his house, WSB reported.

    Hemy Neuman's Facebook page shows a picture of him smiling with his arms around three children who appear to be teenagers. It says he has worked at General Electric and studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology. His LinkedIn page says he is an operations and quality manager at General Electric.

    Neuman has not made a public statement since the arrest.

    No regulations (or at least loosened) regarding proximity to schools in GA law anymore. Now you can even drive through and pick up/drop-off your children with a firearm in your vehicle.

    (7) A person who is licensed in accordance with Code Section 16-11-129 or issued a permit pursuant to Code Section 43-38-10, when such person carries or picks up a student at a school building, school function, or school property or on a bus or other transportation furnished by the school or a person who is licensed in accordance with Code Section 16-11-129 or issued a permit pursuant to Code Section 43-38-10 when he or she has any weapon legally kept within a vehicle when such vehicle is parked at such school property or is in transit through a designated school zone;

    (8) A weapon possessed by a license holder which is under the possessor's control in a motor vehicle or which is in a locked compartment of a motor vehicle or one which is in a locked container in or a locked firearms rack which is on a motor vehicle which is being used by an adult over 21 years of age to bring to or pick up a student at a school building, school function, or school property or on a bus or other transportation furnished by the school, or when such vehicle is used to transport someone to an activity being conducted on school property which has been authorized by a duly authorized official of the school; provided, however, that this exception shall not apply to a student attending such school;

    The real defense is to not get to the point where people are out to get you. I guess you live by the gun you die by gun. The AJC is a horrid example of media in Atlanta, where I live. They never tell the story as it truly happens unless it is for political or monetary gain.

    According to one of the national news programs I saw last night it appears that Neuman may have been Mrs. Sneiderman's supervisor at some point. The police seem to think there is more to the story than even they know at this time.
