+1. Glad it turned out ok, but that could have turned out ugly for them. Sometimes instincts take over when the opportunity presents itself and a swiftly applied blow to the gun hand can turn the tide. Don't mess with a guy who knows how to use an oversized pizza spatula.

Those pizza peels are as flimsy as all get out, I'm glad it worked for him but it wouldn't be my first choice.
However, there is this 8ft long fork that is used to pop bubbles in the dough as it cooks......THAT might be interesting if properly used.
I've always heard it's best to work for an Indy (independent rather than chain store) coz the managers don't have to take any crap. LOL

They were lucky that the BG wasn't prepared to shoot. Glad that everything turned out OK for the good guys.

NYC will be meeting later this morning to discuss the blatant use of this spatula. We must have laws protecting our citizens against such a clearly dangerous weapon. We suggest that they make them more to the consistency of a "fly swatter" to help protect our citizenry!
