    GOOD: Knucklehead in custody.

Pull a gun, refuse to put it down when law enforcement arrives, hide your hands so they can't see what you have, and see where it gets you.

He's lucky to be alive, or the deputy was a lousy shot.

I don't think the Deputy wanted to shoot his dog!

Yeah, I'd say you're right. I forgot the dog was trying to take the perp down, so the officer had to pick his shot carefully.

The dirtbag looks like he's on meth. Too bad the cop didn't hit him higher and dead center so as to save the taxpayers some money.

According to a Virginia State Police news statement, two Wise County sheriff’s deputies and a K-9 dog went to a home on Moneyhun Road, near the Appalachia town limits. The man who lived there was reportedly wielding a handgun in the direction of his father-in-law, who had arrived Thanksgiving evening to pick up his daughter and granddaughter.

They should have let the dog have a 10 minute 'conference' with the dirtbag.

Sadly a handgun can be quite an equalizer in a confrontation with a K9... =(

Sounds like Deputies didn't want to spoil their Thanksgiving by filling out a bunch of paper work at shifts end. So they flipped for it Glad the deputies & K9 were all ok.

Naw, too much chance of the poor dog getting food poisoning.
