He was a nice kid, didn't have any problems with anybody. Well what happened that made him murder his parents? This is sad. Obviously a breakdown in the parental role somewhere. Nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors.

Oooohhhh, 14-year-old... I was wondering to myself how you could possibly charge a 4-year-old.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

Well, one 14 yr old here ... years ago.... stabbed his mother 27 times, hit her in the head 20 times with a baseball bat, tried to drown her, and when she still wouldn't die, he choked her to death.
and everyone heard, "he was such a nice kid". There was something 'wrong' in this kid to do this, and finding out too late, doesn't help. But , he knows what he did and why, as well as the result. I don't know the laws in Florida, but a capital crime ... a 14 yr old can be tried as an adult.

YIKES!!! I always wonder how it gets this far. Really too bad those "little problems" his father referred to didn't get worked out earlier. . . . but then again, could this happen to anyone these days?

Talk to child protection services, if you can find someone willing to talk. Over half the male children who end up dead or in the hospital due to family violence, were injured or killed by their mothers.
"Closed doors" and "family secrets", indeed. You will feel sick to your stomach at how common child abuse is, once you learn how to recognize the symptoms of the different kinds.

Could you draw on your own child? I thought about that the other day when my 14 year old lunged at me with a butcher knife for confiscating her cell phone.
A CCW is like a parachute; if you need one, and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again.
