I'd rather be lucky than good any day

There's nothing that will change someone's moral outlook quicker than cash in large sums.

Majority rule only works if you're also considering individual rights. Because you can't have five wolves and one sheep voting on what to have for supper.

What's wrong with Santa carrying a gun, as long as he carries it legally? As for the children, get them trained as early as possible, with all the safety information, then later with practice and when they are eligible they also can get their cc license.

Depicting Santa as fat means that all kids are going to think it is ok/want to be fat. There ought to be a law...
We're all in favor of reducing violent crime. It's just that pro-gunners have a method that is proven effective. Anti-gunners don't.

I don't think they should have taken it down. I don't think they should give in to the pressure of a bunch of anti's complaining about something that's been there for 20 years.

It's sad that certain people have been allowed to procreate and produce such stupidity.

Absolute BS. It reminds me of my junior high mascot which was the Trailblazers, which had a cartoonish frontiersman with a coonskin cap running with a rifle. Years ago the rifle was removed from the logo because of its "negative" connotations.

Right, it was the cartoon gun that made all the little criminals want a gun and become violent!

Since Santa works the late night shift, I'm thinking Santa just might have prepared himself to defend against any 'sleighjackers' he might encounter.

"It portrays to the kids that it's ok for Santa to be carrying a gun and therefore it's ok for them to be carrying a gun," .

Well, first of all, Santa is an adult, right(at least at several hundred years I would hope he learned some responsibility and gun safety)? So what is the problem with him portraying that it is ok to carry a gun?

Secondly, he drives a sleigh, right? "therefore" it's ok for them to drive a sleigh too, right? And he sneaks into peoples houses in the middle of the night. I guess kids should be able to do everything they see Santa do, right?

She isn't complaining that Santa teaches kids to break and enter? He stole my cookies, too. The Easter Bunny teaches kids to eat stuff off the dirt. Halloween isn't about begging, it's about extortion.
That's sums it all up in a nut case, I mean nut shell.
