Good for her for doing what she had to do. He was apparently one of those idiots that doesn't know how to move on and leave things alone. As suggested, apparently there is now one less idiot to contend with. Condolences and thoughts to the people involved, who now have to deal with the aftermath of stopping such a person.
Lunatic legislators will claim she killed someone and that there could have been a number of other ways to handle it. Of course, she did the old telephone trick, calling police to assist in the ejection and warning of an apparently violent person. And the fact the idiot kept returning proves how effective in protecting her such calls were. They didn't keep him away. The "target" person, the "girlfriend," knew better. She knew for a fact that he was emotionally capable of harming her. No legislator is going to ever craft a legal solution that can physically protect a person from inbound violence as this woman experienced. When it comes to it, NOTHING can take the place of one's own ability to mount an effective defense at the moment crime reaches out to touch us. There is no substitute. Fortunately, she knew that well in advance. Smart. Kudos to her for surviving what is almost certain to have been extreme violence directed toward her.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.

At the time of the arrest Sharp was "aggressive and violent," and became more agitated while at the Weber County Jail. He was booked at 11:05 a.m. for investigation of criminal mischief, interfering with arrest and evading officers.
Sharp was released at 5 p.m. Thursday after posting bond, agreeing to the provisions of a no-contact order and assurances that he had family and a place to go.
Total system failure. This is what makes me want to slap a progressive when they advocate paperwork vs. arming onesself.
