Certainly not a good idea to go outside as a permit holder and shoot at a fleeing perp...let the police do their work.OMO

If this CCW Holder had any training, of any significance, he would've known what he did was stupid, wrong, and unjustified.

Bad choice by this CCW holder to run out and shoot at the bad guy. He could've been shot or hit an innocent bystander. We are given permission to conceal carry in order to defend ourselves from a violent attack, not to become a law enforcement officer. I'm just glad that no one was hurt by this idiot's poor judgment and terrible accuracy. I hope they strip him of his concealed carry permit.

As a side note know that Amherst, NY is, yet again, a small rural town with a small college.
Agree with everyone else very much unwise Shooting at a _non-threat_ as fleeing...Over _property_, that is insured no less.
