PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. - Sheriff Paul Babeu has announced he plans to use deadly force, if necessary, to drive smugglers and border bandits out of his part of the desert.

Sheriff Paul Babeu is tired of being overrun by violent cartels. He has formed teams, all heavily armed and including sniper elements. They are going into the badlands of his county at all hours of the day and night. When they happen upon the smugglers they will get on a bullhorn and announce in spanish that they are under arrest and to drop their weapons.

If the dopers resort to firepower they will get the same in return, in spades! This looks less like arrest sweeps and a lot more like a military maneuver called "Movement to Contact." In other words, a combat patrol. This is exactly what our Federal Government should be doing 24/7/365 and aren't! So it falls to brave souls like this lonely sheriff, who will no doubt be vilified by many and may even be subjected to formal disciplinary action by his superiors at the state or even at the Federal levels.

The trick is to put the bullhorn in an obvious place and let the people walk by it.

You make the announcement, and when they turn to fire, you blast them. Of course, setting several Claymores around the speaker wouldnt hurt.

Sounds like a good application for the Gabby / Spooky operations from Vietnam.

Gabby (the BS bomber) was a C-47 outfitted with giant speakers, used to deliver messages to the enemy. They used to fly in big circles a couple thousand feet up.

Flying 1/4 turn behind the Gabby was Spooky, carrying miniguns. When the BGs opened up on Gabby (which they often did), Spooky rained down 24,000 rounds a minute, and the upward fire ceased......

Great idea, but the announcements should be in the "Hopi" language, no one (except the Hopi) understands it, and that's a fair warning (if you're going to have a warning) to these dirtbags.OMO
