BEAUFORT, S.C. (AP) - A holdup was foiled in Beaufort when two armed men rushed into a home and a man inside shot at them with a pistol.
The Beaufort Gazette reports a wounded man was arrested after he showed up at a hospital seeking treatment while a dog-tracking team apprehended the second suspect.

Goes back to 'Epic Beard Man'. Old but tough vet gets hassled by an 'urban gentleman' on a bus, avoids the conflict by retreating to the front of bus, urban gentleman follows epic beard man to the front of the bus to the chorus of girls yelling 'Beat his white ass" ... anyway after the urban gentleman threw the first punch, Epic Beard Man delivered a few punches of his own ending the conflict. Urban gentleman is bleeding out of his mouth, stumbling back to his seat ... the girls who were encouraging him to 'beat' Epic Beard Man now say "Ooooooohhhhhh, you leaking", to which the urban gentleman replied "Call the amberlamps". (ghetto slang for "Ambulance", I guess). The meme I posted is from that, Sig 210's comments about the guy "leaking" reminded me of it.

Good to see my home town peeps keeping the perps at bay. Sad though, seems to be an uprise in home invasions in BFT. I don't like to see Beaufort making the news this way. Great place.
