My heart goes out to his family.
OMG... I watched that live yesterday. It just about rips your heart out!
Megyn Kelly was about to cry herself.
The death of this little girl tears your heart out. May she rest in Everlasting Peace.
BTW: She was born on 9/11.

<No words>
I hope that I never have to feel the pain that this family is going through at this time.
May God Bless the family and help them through their time of morning.
That said, it's a darn shame that some will use this tragity to further their own agenda, and the antigun agenda.
The father seems to know this by what he has said.
This guy has a lot of integrity to acknowledge that more restrictions do not make anyone safer.
What a nightmare for a parent to go through
I was amazed that he could hold it all together. I know that I would have been a quivering mess over in the corner somewhere. I wish I could help him in some way but know that is absolutely impossible. Nothing but time will help.
I have a daughter who was born just a few weeks after Christina (10/3/01).
So her father's words and grief...hit so hard and close to home for me.
Reminded me how precious and fragile life is...and which of God's gifts are most precious.
If you still have kids at home...give them a hug tonight.
And offer a prayer for the Greenes.
That guy is a 100% class act. What a great dad and what a great American.
I heard that interview live. It brought tears to my eyes then and now. I have three children, a son and two daughters. I can't even imagine the pain in that man's heart. Through it all he keeps his feet on the ground. I deeply admire the character of that man.
I was also impressed, for the umpteenth time, with the quality of Megan Kelly's interview. That woman is a genuine journalist.

I will be attending the counter protest against WBC in Tuscon on Thursday, the day of the child's funeral.
I fully support WBC's right to assemble and protest wherever they may chose, but I will be exercising my right to assemble before them in hopes of keeping their bigotry out of earshot of this child's poor family.
I have a 12 year old daughter myself, I don't know how he held it together for that interview. Westboro (I will not acknowledge this as a church)
needs to be swiftly and severely dealt with for any and all protests and actions toward anyone.
There are no words ........... the hurt of this family. But... God Bless that little girl, and I"m sure the father will have a hole inside of him for the rest of his life. I would.
I lost friends when I was young, and ... they have always been with me. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child, let alone in that manner.
