    Thank you sir

Edit: sorry they are requesting that I disarm myself voluntarily so that I may attend. I will pass out of respect because I will disarm myself for no one.

My concern is that their presence might trigger another event. This is just more gasoline on a smoldering fire.

If I lived in a nearby state, I would gladly help keep WBC away.

It looks like the state legislature is doing what they can to help:

I wish I lived closer, I don't understand these twisted fools but I'd love to meet them, a nine year old girl ? that just as low as it gets.

Actually I hope security is lacking. I also hope it takes at least an hour for LE to arrive after the WBC beatings.

There are times in life when someone needs a whoopin. The WBC protesting the funeral of a nine year old murder victim clearly demonstrates (to me) that this is one of those times.

The issue here is they ARE practicing free speech, and they deserve the same rights afforded the other HATE groups or even citizens.... if you start isolating one group, you are picking and choosing who has free speech. Unfortunately this is the case but they do have a right to protest, off private property in a public setting, via permit where they are allowed to protest. Even if I think they are scum of the earth hypocritical d-bags.

Wow... These people, to a person would all willingly drink the "purple kool-aid" if their minister and leader told them to.

    Now that's pretty pathetic.

They are as mentally ill as the shooter himself. Maybe with a different pathology, but just as mentally ill, none the less.

    This is just sick.

I applaud the intent of the proposed legislation, but I don't know how they will find a constitutional way to prevent free assembly and free speech. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand Phelps and his band of idiots, but unless and until they do something criminal, they have the same rights as anyone else.

Tuscon is attempting to mimic an Ohio law that apparently has held up in court. The law would require the protests to remain 300 ft from the funeral procession. The Senate President and Jan Brewer both back the bill and it will go into effect immediately.

What a dispicable group of excuses for human beings.

Sorry can you change this to Off Topic Forum ? My bad.
The "Angels' they could get are the Hell's Angels, and I bet they'd like to help.

But of course, that type of thing makes it even worse on the family. Best show the support they plan.
I also heard the Legislature was going to pass a law today outlawing this type of demonstration so close to a funeral. Don't know how the Supremes would view that, but right now I don't care. Get these horrible people away! Are they so negligent as human beings that they can't see the agony already there in such a horrible loss for the poor family, and they will make them suffer more?!

They think God wants this?! Religion does not teach HATRED! That comes from the Other Place.
(And here I am, doing it myself. Enough........)
