Nice AP hit piece blaming Arizona's gun policy for all that's wrong in the world. Don't read if your not ready for your blood to boil over :dead:

That wasn't my read from it, I thoufgght it was pretty even handed. Sure, it quotes the usual anti's mantra, but seemed to cover both sides. Maybe I am getting soft in my old age.
It ends on the mantra that "if the gun laws would have been tougher, like xyz states", but really it documents the real reason why he was able to get a gun... The kid had serious trouble, been arrested multiple times, and yet still passed the background check because of the "diversion" programs that kept him from being punished and record updated. Because people wanted to "help" him instead of punishing him for the things he'd done wrong so that later in life it'd be obvious he was not to be trusted enough to pass a background check.
Intent on this rampage, NO LAWS could have prevented his plan.IMHO
