    Justice served

Last year, about this time, my co-worker Matt was robbed, stabbed twice and left for dead. Just last week, the trial for the 2 of the four punks was held. Both were found guilty, both got mandatory 25 year sentences. The two other guys who were in on it plead guilty to lesser charges that might get them up to 15 years:

Matt's pleased with the verdict and the sentencing... and happy to be alive to talk about it, and has gotten his CWP.

If loose gun laws are good for criminals why do criminals support gun control?

I remember how upsetting this was for you and how that came through in your comments in other threads. Glad they got found guilty and glad they got moderately severe punishments. Considering that their acts were close to fatal, the 25 seems sort of the base minimum; but at least you'll know where they'll be for the next dozen to 25 years.

I'm sorry your friend was hurt and glad the assailants were sent to prison. Sometimes the system works as it should.

Glad they're locked up, glad your friend survived! Now, on to the Civil Trial so he can sue the perps and the families for every nickel they have (probably few, but it's fun to consider).

    Two thumbs up!

    Thanks for the update.
We're all in favor of reducing violent crime. It's just that pro-gunners have a method that is proven effective. Anti-gunners don't.
