Because threatening to kill someone is still not taken seriously (enough) in Pima County. At least he gets a mental exam, that's more than Loughner apparently got.while Fuller was being escorted out, deputies decided he needed a mental health evaluation and he was taken to a hospital.

Really, they should have started that much sooner, then there wouldn't have been a shooting to talk about. And, it appears they had several contacts and opportunities. Yes in AZ under ARS Title 13 one can and will be arrested (by TPD especially) for Threats and Intimidation...if TPD is the Responding Department SOMEONE is getting charged with SOMETHING.
Deputies have more latitude of course, but you can bet your turd cutters that Sheriff Dumbnik is politicizing the whole mess and affair.

"Victim?" Why the " "'s? I'd say he qualifies as a victim without quotes around the word. Subsequent moronic behavior doesn't make him any less of a victim of Loughner than anyone else who was shot that day.

Mr. Fuller seems to harbor resentment and blame for everyone in regards to the shooting rampage except the shooter himself.

This is about guns and stuff and not politics.
The guy was shot, he is a victim without quotation marks.
He made an angry and foolish veiled threat. He never said he would kill the guy. Foolish or stupid. Just like many others.

I am not sure where you are coming from Hop. Do you think the guy should not have been arrested for his threats?
Did I say that? I said he was stupid or foolish and made a veiled threat. Then I pointed out that this is a thread which is going to end up like many others, closed after hacking off the moderators.
