    Wichita's first 2011 homocide likely the work of armed robber's accomplice

    (WICHITA, Kan.) —
    Wichita police are looking for a robbery suspect who they believe accidentally shot his accomplice.

    Andre Lovett, 30 died of gunshot wounds Thursday at Wesley Medical Center. Investigators believe Lovett was shot by his partner as the two robbed an apartment in the 1800 block of N. Minneapolis. Police believe his partner dropped Lovett off at the hospital.

    Not sure about KS law. In OK the perp could be charged with murder.
