Man shot in the head at Panama City gun range
I'm doubting accidental. Oops, oops, oops........
I'm not makin' this up. Legit news story. Bizarre, but legit.
If it was suicide he was a very bad shot.
What the? Maybe some sort of bubba'ed pistol that he was looking down after it stopped? That's all I can think of... then it went full auto.
Once I responded to a man that was shot three times in the chest with a .22lr rifle.......it was ruled a suicide. :dunno:
i assume it was a bolt action .22 rifle?
bang, ow, bang, ow, bang, ow, bang, ow, bang, ow, bang, ow, you know if i was committing suicide like this and i couldnt hit my own head, ida quit after the first two shots
I drive by that range at least once a day either to or from work. Just as small indoor range with rental and sales next to the old airport.
I'm trying to think just what could have happened (multiple shots?) and all I can think of is maybe the guy was a novice and suddenly had an itch on the side of his head and tried to scratch it. Any better guesses? Should be more coming out about it later.
So what did he ask you? What was your response? :icon_neutral:
In 1972, Ralls County Missouri, a man was found shot in the chest twice with a 12 gauge pump shotgun, with a 30 inch barrel. It was ruled a suicide.
In 1973, Ralls County Missouri, a man was found shot in the back of the head with a .22 rifle and the rifle was located in a corner of the room. It was ruled a suicide.
A standing sick joke by the LEO's, at that time, in Marion County Missouri was that Ralls County Missouri had no unsolved murders.
5 or 6 times in the head and he isn't dead??!!
I really shouldn't presume the stopping power of my pistol!Quote:
A man is in critical condition after shooting himself in the head five or six times at a Panama City gun range.
Must have been a Jennings.
Those pesky flies at the range are so hard to hit and get in your face. He was just trying to get the fly to stop landing on his head.
