2 deputies slain, 2 wounded in small Va. town - Yahoo! News. . . . a deadly shooting rampage that this time killed two deputies and wounded two more before the suspect who may have been trying to rob a salvage yard was fatally shot by police.
That assailant was killed by police does little to diminish saddening terrible loss. My condolences to their families; their department and the community.

That is awful. Sounds like it was an ambush to me. Good thing the perp won't be wasting any tax payer money with trial and jail. My prayers go out to the families of those law enforcement officers.
