    Ugly: Tragdey in Brazil

I just read where 10+ children were killed in a school shooting. Again my heart aches for the inocent victims and their families. The google news report says the shooting only stopped because the shooter was engaged by armed police. I am not sure how to say this so I'll just say it. We can't stop these freaks from killing innocent people and gun control would only make ALL of us potential victims. It seems that the only solution is every responsible adult needs to be trained, armed and carry 24/7. I hate to make this tragedy a platform for a political statement but it makes me sick to see all these people dying from wacko's with no REAL effort to prevent these crimes! Please give me your feedback.

Two 38 revolvers. He killed almost twice as many people as Jared Loughner did with a 33 round glock 9mm magazine. Imagine that.

Illegal ownership as well, he was 24 and you have to be 25 to own a firearm in Brazil.

So prohibited possessor by their ridiculous firearm laws, using a weapon that was legal under their ridiculous caliber laws and still killed 10.

    Gun control only favors criminals.

    Wheres a news link?

    Never mind:

    Found one;;http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20110407/...chool_shooting

    From article:

It was the worst school shooting in Brazil — and would have been deadlier if the gunman had not been shot in the legs by a police officer, who said the man then fell down some stairs and shot himself in the head.

    Sad indeed!

Let me get this right, he's shooting children and the LEO's shoot him in the legs? Where were they trained, in NY? Sad story, prayers for children involved and their families. Too bad somebody in the school wasn't armed, they might have had better aim than their police.

I'm sorry to hear that. But, that's what happens when you let the "nobody needs guns, nobody needs to be killed" people take charge. Maybe someone will learn from it. I'm sorry to sound so callous about it, but... I don't really know what else to say.
