Cowards like most attackers that jump people in the dark. Can you imagine what would've happened had he not have had a firearm? I doubt he would even have to shoot anyone of them, just the fact that he was willing to fight back and was backed up with something substantial was enough to shut them down.

I'm not saying it's not important to be competent with your weapon but sometimes just taking up for yourself is enough to counter would-be attacks.

In my book brass knuckles are a deadly weapon. They are 'semi-illegal' in VA for a reason.

Please do not argue this point. If you shoot enough you train your mind and reflexes to be accurate no matter the stress. I have shot so many rounds thus far I can say it feels natural every time I pull that trigger with out having to think about crap.
