Sounds to me like neither of them expected it to actually penetrate. Still stupid, though he admits he knows the rules and broke them.

If you read the article they said if he had died she would have been charged with manslaughter because he was asking her to do it and she didn't want to.
There was no malicious intent and he was telling her to do it. It doesn't make it any less stupid but it's why they won't be charging her. I'm glad he survived and I hope it teaches them both a valuable lesson.

Is it a bullet or a pellet? The reporter indicates he was shot with a pellet gun, but then states "The bullet caused a blockage in the left anterior descending artery"....so which is it?
