Good for the LEO, a knife is just as dangerous up close as a gun.

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness,
nor the arrow for its swiftness,
nor the warrior for his glory.
I love only that which they defend.

Not much info, but as long as another dirtbag is gone......I like the story.
The LEO is safe, and the world is minus one more predator.

Not much to go on here, but if the dumbcluck is stupid enough to be in a bank, after hours, with a knife,,,,Oh too bad.

I'd be willing to say a knife, in the hands of a skilled person, is even MORE dangerous/deadly than an up close gun. Let the flaming begin!

I'm glad for the officer that he did not have the fear of action present in some officers today.

No flames here - you're right.

I don't think anyone is gonna disagree,Somebody intent on doing somebody harm can palm a blade and get close enough to carve you like a Thanksgiving Turkey before you start to react,if he knows what he's doing and slashes you in certain places you will bleed out before help arrives, and even then they may not be able to save you due to excessive blood loss

I don't know if it's more dangerous or not, but I know it scares me more...only thing scares me more than that is a straight razor! (they used to be pretty common, I don't think so much anymore)

Me too. Cops getting jammed up for doing their job creates enough doubt to get the good guys hurt or killed. The judge and jury have all the time in the world to come up with a verdict. The cop on the street has a split second to decide if he is going home to his family or going to meet his maker.

It is better to have your gun and not need it, than to need it and not have it!
You cannot choose the conditions for a gunfight, so train in all conditions!
