Bad: Woman shot and dog killed in home invasion. NC
Not many details yet and LE are still looking the criminals. I do wonder if the dog was trying to defend its master and was shot for it.
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. --
Three men forced their way into a Fayetteville home early Sunday morning, shooting and injuring a woman and killing a dog, police said.
It happened at around 2 a.m. at 6498 Green Meadow Road.
Police say the shooting victim is Lindsay Sherbet, 23. She was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and is recovering.
Three people were in the home when, police said, the three men forced their way in and made demands. Police would not say exactly what the men asked for.
The men shot Sherbet and also shot and killed a dog. The two other people in the home were not hurt.

When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk.

as usual--wait for detail which will likely be mis-quotes and 'they said' knida nonsense.
pick 2 of 3--
--ex boyfriend
--drugs as part of the dispute
--someone in the house dissed one of the 'street people' and this was a lesson.
as i've noticed about others--that they do not always do as i think they will nor often as they say they will.
this not only makes life interesting, it makes it dangerous too.

Or maybe it was just a robbery attempt.

And the wife wonders why I'm paranoid about seeing people in the yard.
The 'tell' is that the police wouldn't say what the BG's demanded. I'll guess drugs...more news at 11?

Stay armed...when at home, too...stay safe!

If they killed either of my dogs, they'd be lucky to leave alive.
