Say hello to your new Home,Fort Leavenworth Kansas,When I was in they warned you about taking anything off the ranges, including spent brass, and dipstick steals some C4 and then tries to take it on a plane,It's like a train wreck in slow motion
What a bad way to end his career, should have used the amnesty box. As dukalmighty said he will rapidly get new PCS orders.
Well, he is, afterall, only a "young" PVT. He probably thought, "Hey, its only a little bit...they'll never miss it...I'll take it home to my buds and say 'Hey, watch this...' " :danceban:
Now, the "Hey, watch this" will take on an entirely new meaning for him.:frown::gah:
Young, dumb and full of .......stupidity !
:3schild48:
PFC Snuffy....these are the guys that end careers. What do you think happened to his chain of command when the command got the call there was missing C4, and where it was found?
Plt Sgt, Plt CO, Co 1SGT, Co CO at minimum probably had to go stand in front of "The Man" in Class As....
SIG guy229 makes an excellent point and that young man will be sorry for the rest of his life for that one stupid decision.
Well, on the bright side, at least airport security was able to detect it..
Wow. I just have to ask; 'How stupid can you get??'
I mean, what could possibly make him think that was a good idea? I know everyone has done/does stupid things that they regret. But really?? Good job, buddy. :35:
i do a walk around the house before locking up to leave for the airport.
--i am not even to main security when a dog and his handler pass me...and the dog gives an alert.
showed them my NRA Instructors credentials, talked for 2 minutes and they
handled it professionally and fast, they even walked me through the screening area
all cause i walked over my matt's near the re-loading area and my soles picked up enough 'trace' for the dog to smell.
had TSA picked up on it--i would have missed my flight and worse;
had my name sent to Washington.
probably made to sit on the group W bench
all i can say is--getting on a plane ain't what it use to be.

this guy is short some thinking material
The sad part is...he was flying to Los Angeles from Yuma....he could have driven there with the explosive. Thank goodness for stupid criminals. Now for me, I took my backpack to a range last week, and then ran it through the washing machine....I wonder if they will detect nitrates on my bag....?
Hmmm, they'll never find it in this little canister! :guilty:
And to think the dolt was in explosives class?
I can almost (with difficulty) believe someone naively putting the knives in their bags. Somehow, there are always folks who don't get the message.
I have a much harder time believing there could possibly be any innocent
explanation for possession of the C-4. At best, it was stolen for bragging and to be a show-off; but stolen it was.
At worst, who knows what this guy has in the dark recesses of his mind.
