    This version states that the husband did indeed pick the dog up, then she fired. Nice. Nothing suspicious about that!

    Pepper spray might have been a better answer. It was a puppy, after all. Small target. Collateral damage from pepper spray would have been survivable by all involved. Bullets, not so much. At least she didn't hit the grandkids.

    Why would you shoot a dog that is being held? What if she had still hit the dog the bullet gone through and still killed her husband? Wheres the common sense?
