My squadron also had a guest speaker today for our safety brief, An FBI Agent that wanted to talk to everyone about the places to avoid and the drug problem in El Paso and Juarez.

    Ex's BIL Abducted and Killed

Life is getting cheaper and cheaper on both sides of the border. I know some Counter Narc folks who say the cartel folks are killing folks on this side with regularity. Something has to be done

Completely agree, someone got kidnapped by cartel awhile back right our of his front yard in Horizon City. The border problems stretch across the entire U.S. Mexico border.

See, "Popular Night Clubs" are one of those places where stupid people go and stupid things happen.

That's a violation of 2 of the 3 Rules of Stupid right there. And once inside, there's no doubt going to be violations of all 3 of the rules at some point.

Not good for ccw holders. I'm not saying you shouldn't go to clubs. They can be lots of fun. Just don't act surprise if you are caught up in a situation where a killing goes down. And they are obviously places you probably shouldn't be with your gun. Which is why I don't frequent them any longer. Besides, I've grown up and am much older now.

I myself have never been to any clubs in the El Paso area or back home in Arizona, it is not my scene and I know they attract all sorts of different characters. I stay as far away as possible.

    I'm not making this up.
Janet Napolitano just did a radio interview where she said the border towns were among the safest in the country.

Their argument in El Paso is because they have so many local, state and federal LEOs it is a safe place. We have FBI, ICE, DEA, ATF, Border Patrol, El Paso PD, sheriffs and state troopers. That tells me this place isn't safe because we have to have so much law enforcement personnel.

Was at Bliss in the mid-60's. Wasn't too bad then but there were places you knew to stay away from, especially across the border.
