Socorro man dies in apparent accidental shooting
A 33-year-old man apparently accidentally shot and killed himself early Wednesday in Socorro while showing a 9-mm handgun to a teenage relative.
Socorro spokesman Dave Garcia said the accident took place around 3:35 a.m. in a home in the 10600 block of Lippert Drive.
The victim, Alberto Ricardo Arce, an unemployed security guard, had just come home and was alone in the living room with the relative when he pointed the gun at his own head.
The gun went off and killed Arce, Garcia said.

No wonder he was unemployed......

Excellent, but expensive, firearms safety lesson for the teenager.

"... The gun went off ..."; did the gun perhaps go off by itself?

Lovely 'reporting'.
An out of work security guard with a former gun charge. Adiós, muchacho.

as i've noticed about others--that they do not always do as i think they will nor often as they say they will.
this not only makes life interesting, it makes it dangerous too.

Yeah the gun went, off being awake at 3:35 a.m. it was in a real bad mood; so, it went off and busted a cap in that fools dome.

Sounds to me more like a depressed out of work Security Guard that committed suicide
