There is something about firing 4,200 thirty millimeter rounds/min that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I'm sorry to hear that doofus put the homeowner in that position......killing a man is a lot to live with. Hope she does OK.

Good riddence to that punk though and good shooting by the woman under pressure.

Good for her. Hope she is ok over the ordeal. How does this not inspire people to chose a different line of "work"?

I wouldn't normally consider 63 to be "elderly."

Good Shooting, text book: 2 verbal warnings, 2 rounds (one in the head).

Good thing this wasn't up in Canton or the elderly lady would have a felony.

When I wrote the title to this topic the articles didn't show her age. They just said older and frail. How about "lady that is almost old enough to retire"? Either way don't mess with older women from Kentucky... They will mess you up :)

Already the sheeple are questioning his demeanor and saying she should have taken less drastic measures. A well aimed shot to the foot should have done it, they rant. After all, he was practically naked! At the rate we're sliding into the abyss, maybe they will get their chance some day real soon to show us how it's done

I have to agree being 69 myself. That said, some people are old at 55, others are young at 75.

On the second link video, a neighbor talks about--"things like this happening in such a good neighborhood." WHEN are people going to get it, IT CAN HAPPEN ANYWHERE!!!

Good for the lady!! Hope she doesn't have any lingering mental issues. She did what she needed to do, good for her.

Good for her. 63 isn't very old these days, but I'm glad that she was able to defend herself.

+1 Fitch Had a case in Nashville last night where a 68 year old lady shot at four guys with a 410 when they tried to enter her home at 2 am. Got one in the face plus he losta finger and another one in the side. Police got them when the surviving ones took their two hombfes to the ER.
