BAD: 15 shootings in 24 hours

Of course, no where in this article or follow up article (if any), will the local media report how many of these shootings were by legal/illegal weapons, or whether or not they were justifiable/self defense shooting(s).

15 Detroit Shootings In 24 Hours - Detroit Local News Story - WDIV Detroit

Well, at least "only" 6 of the 15 resulted in death.

Well see,it is those deadly guns.We need to join the Brady Campaign. I wonder if one of the shootings involved a ' high powered semi automatic pistol?'

    (fixed it for you)
Must have, there were five victims at one shooting scene.

So far, there's no news story there, just an extended headline. Would like to see details on the shooters and victims and scenes. Shall we start a pool on the average length of rap sheet of the shooters?

I had a 4 hour layover in Detroit destined for Traverse City. My young co-worker was pumped about getting to go see the city for an hour or so. I said you must be crazy. I never left the terminal and thus neither did he. Bummed him out at the time but now that he is older he has thanked me for my reluctance.

Good to see things are finally starting to slow down in the Detroit area!

LOL! I live just north of the city of Detroit. Every night I'm outside, I can hear gunfire. Seriously, brings back Desert Storm memories.

Sounds like Detroit is competing with Juarez.

Here's the summary of the shootings. Bet there was not one legal owner among the bunch of them. Especially the 15 year old that shot himself.

If you want to see something just as scary. Look at the headlines for Flint MI.
