Angry Killer of Four Running From Police....

It would be nice if they had given a description of the suspect.

Recent combat veteran makes him a very dangeous individual who has already shot two LEO's.

    Supposedly armed with semi-auto rifle.

I do not think this is going to end very well at all.

I really hate stories like that, they are just bad all the way around. Obviously the killer has some issues, possibly service related, that nobody saw, until it was way too late.

Well, thats one thing our goverment does very well is create trained Killers. Good for War Bad for Peace.

I pray that it ends well, I'm sure all involved deserve better including our soldier.

Why couldn't he have shot himself to start with and saved all of the other deaths and aggravation?

Soldier kills four in Pennsylvania, takes own life - Yahoo! News

Thank God he valued his daughters life.

Too bad he didn't value the life of his ex, her boyfriend and his son.

Just shows that the human mind can only hold so much hurt and pain, and sometimes all the Kings horses and all the Kings men, just cannot put it all back together again.

We don't know the whole story, but its safe to say he could not accept his wife moving on, and his family being torn apart.

It's really tragic that he felt that he needed to kill people that he saw had wronged him,on the other hand thank god he didn't choose to inflict maximum carnage, somebody with 3 combat tours and all the training could have made a lot of trouble.
Something tells me that he very likely got a Dear John letter while deployed.

As Colonel Grossman so eloquently puts it there are a number of people out there who are going to "make you feel their pain."

    From the new story.
he was sought in the Virginia deaths of his ex-wife, her boyfriend and the boyfriend's young son, authorities said.
Dang! that's just wrong! When I read the part about him being a vet I instantly felt a little compassion for the guy, obviously not knowing what he went through over there and all, but when I came to the bold portion, any compassion I felt for the guy was gone as fast as it appeared. Vet or not, I'm glad he got what he deserved, at least he got to live to see adulthood, the poor little guy deserved the chance as well.

Probably a safe bet to say that anyone who does this might have some issues. Not necessarily ones that would have been cause for treatment though. Some folks just snap, its that simple.

Possibly service related? Its just as possible that it is related to the fact his mother did or did not breast feed him. He had no father, came from a poor or dysfunctional family.
It is normal for the media to add bits of information to stories to enhance the reporters idea of what may have happened. It is a popular but in many cases a sloppy and lazy way to influence the readers opinions without having to go to the extra work involved in actually finding real proof to support the authors views.
