    Gun use and safety should be taught in public schools just like sex ed. I believe you have to take the mystery and "taboo" out of firearms to our youth.

    Edit: It is for their own knowledge, safety, appreciation, and respect.....just like sex.

    The article says the two students were arrested. I think the mother's boyfriend should go to jail for not keeping it secure.
