Saw that on the Raleigh news the other night love the mug shot. Kudos to her for using an improvised weapon to stop the attack.

Don't mess with momma bear. Can't wait 'till the guys in the big house hear about this. I wonder if there was chewing gum on the bedpost overnight.

Notice that she asked him to leave first. It was only after he refused to leave that she took the bedpost to him. As a criminal, you can't ask for much more than that. If he had broken into my house, I wouldn't have asked him to leave.

If a person is in one's house illegally, I no longer assume that burglary is the worst thing on their to do list.

Worked this time, but I'd hate to have to depend on a bedpost.

    Do burglars require documentation?

ok I Ihave a question while he's laying on the floor she breaks his leg.....would that be over aggressive force? Wouldnt that be bad for her since he was already down to break his leg?

Im glad she saved her family and herself hope it gets taken cared of quickly

He's alive isn't he? Breaking into a house at night, in many states, allows for deadly force... she was probably too tuckered out to kill him with the bedpost... from all the other swinging she did... But actually, the article linked didn't say she broke his ankle...
    Rats!
    It could be worse!
    I suppose
