Polk County Florida Sheriff Might Have the Right Idea ..... Good Read!

The report below was sent to me by a friend of mine. I have know idea if it's true or not, but I did get a kick out of it. Maybe there is someone here that is from Polk County Florida and might know a little more about this story. True or not I thought you guys might enjoy it. (I didn't type this out, I just copied and pasted it)

An

illegal alien, in Polk County , Florida , who got pulled over in

a routine traffic stop, ended up "executing" the deputy who

stopped him. The deputy was shot eight times, including once

behind his right ear at close range. Another deputy was wounded

and a police dog killed. A state-wide manhunt ensued.

The

murderer was found hiding in a wooded area. As soon as he took a

shot at the SWAT team, officers opened fire on him. They hit the

guy 68 times

Naturally, the liberal media went nuts and

asked why they had to shoot the poor, undocumented immigrant 68

times.

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Orlando Sentinel:

"Because that's all the ammunition we had." Now, is that just

about the all-time greatest answer or what!

The Coroner

also reported that the illegal alien died of natural

causes. When asked by a reporter how that could be, since

there were 68 bullet wounds in his body, he simply replied:

Well over 50% hits/rounds fired. Very nice shooting on the LEOs part.

A group who feels strongly about freedom, such as 2A supporters, should always be uncomfortable with government power as our founding fathers were. This is a terrible situation and I can understand the sentiments of people involved but LEOs and military people like me should not be in the revenge business, in my opinion. Whether the citizen in question was an immigrant or not seems unrelated to the central story unless there is supposed to be an anti-immigrant message here as well which I think also seems contrary to American values of freedom and mistrust of too much centralized government.
Just my opinion.

The Lib Media makes 110 rounds sound like quite a lot.

Figures, because obviously when they were all off smoking a doobie (apologies to the legalize marijuana people out there) and skipping all of their constitutional law classes (after learning about the First Amendment only), they managed to miss all of their math classes entirely.

Let's see.

Ten swat officers, and they shot 110 rounds.

We divide 110 by 10.... pretty easy there.... figures show that they only fired an average of around 11ish rounds each.

Now, I have to take issue with the fact that they only hit him 68 times (forget the math on percentages here... I stop at the easy math), but gotta remember that they were shooting into brush at a bad guy who had just murdered a cop, shot a police dog and another officer, and so I will personally give them a break on the 42 missed shots, because the brush may have deflected some shots and I am sure they were more than a little upset, which might also explain the throwing off of their trigger squeeze and sight picture.

Hmmmm..... to me I think the only issue here is for the local authorities to re-evaluate their SWAT officer's rifle calibers and maybe look into equipping them with a little heavier caliber so they can bust through that brush a bit cleaner in any future incidents like this. Terrible waste of ammunition to throw that many shots astray.

But that is just my personal opinion.

I trust my government much more than I trust illegal aliens who gun down American citizens.
