Good: none of the kids were hurt

Bad: The BGs got quite a bit of stuff
Good: The kids gave accurate descriptions
Good: The fifteen year old used her head to hide a cell phone and to escape
    Good: The BGs got caught.
Bad: Old babysitter's boy friend one of the perps (probably "visited" when the "sitter" was "sitting")

Not a lot here about guns and their defensive use... But real heads-up detail gathering by the victims (young as they were), and real ingenuity on the part of the oldest child (not perfect but pretty good).

Good: A pretty well written, detailed story that kids can learn a lot from if they don't have access to firearms.

    Here's the story
    Rats!
    It could be worse!
    I suppose

Those kids did a great job with their police report and they are very lucky. How's that for an understatement?

Smart kids, dumb dirtbags...the scum buckets should be made to work a chain gang for a quarter a day to repay for all that was taken, then sent away for long sentences.
