I certainly hope this gets dismissed.
It's not the weapon that makes me hesitant to fire upon someone at long range, but the legal ramifications and plethora of good prosecuting attorneys.
What worries me even more is that they were able to seize all his weapons,the only time I see this is in drug raids,DV,or high level felonies.
The LEO's in NH were dead against passage of the new gun laws and Castle Doctrine last year. Gov vetoed it and it got overriden. The closer you get to the MA border the worse the attitude gets. But heck, souther NH is really northern MA these days anyway

No it is not! Under the new guidelines you can stand your ground if you are in a place you can lawfully be. His trouble might be if he was on the other guys property.

I too hope the charges are dismissed. But even up here you can't chase people and fire warning shots.
