Makes me madder than h***! Wonder what the BG is like around children?? My basset when a puppy someone tried to kill her, cut her from belly darn near in half! Paid over 3K in surgery bills! I read these stories I go from 0 to warp speed in the pissed off scale! Happy to say she is 8 years old fat dumb and very spoiled! I'd be in jail today if I found out who did this! I hope they get the scank off the street.

Unbelievable! Dogs are some of the best creatures on this planet, all they ever want is your affection (and maybe some kibble in their bowl.) I can't imagine the ANIMAL that the BG has to be. I have to agree with you WD54241 that if someone ever did that to one of my dogs they better hope that the LE get to them before I do.

Ya know, I can see killing a dog, if you're robbing a place. A guard dog or whatever... it could be part of the job description... I'd still want to hunt you down for it...

But, to break into a place... find a man's gun... load it (if necessary)... and kill his dog... and do nothing more than that... The Ash Hat that did THAT... Killin's too good for him... Draggin' him a few hunnert miles behind a pickup on gravel roads... is too good for him. There ain't much that type don't deserve...

I'm gonna bet it's some punk kid that wanted to see what kinda damage his new gun would do.If he will kill a puppy then he won't hesitate to pull the trigger on somebody he robs

Sad, I'd rather they take "things" rather than hurt my dog. I think they will catch this individual, he'll keep it up.

Sick POS needs to be taken out of the food chain before he does the same thing to a child. I could almost understand if we were talking about defending your life from a full grown GS guard dog but this was a 3 month old pup.

You must still be a little emotional Oakchas!!
Excellent and very inspirational movie, BTW.

    Scumbag.
Sounds to me like it was maybe retribution of some kind.
Didn't take anything, damage anything else, just kill the puppy.

Makes you think there was maybe some history there or something going on, that someone would break in, take nothing, but kill your dog. Sending a message?

I like my dogs more than most people, so I couldn't begin to explain the rage I would have towards some maggot that did that to my dogs. I would make his life a living hell, whether he is in jail or not.
