    Horrible news. Praying for the family and all involved. It's so hard reading stories like this, knowing that a senseless death could have been prevented very easily.

    Agreed. And in my opinion a LEO who is that careless with his weapon should be fired.

    Still, it is a sad situation and I am praying for the family.

    Terrible tragedy and an extremely painful lesson. Stories like this show that we must not take our minds off of safety with our firearms for even the shortest amount of time.

    So terrible and sad. The LEO is in trouble also besides personal grief. Parents are responsible for keeping weapons away from children.
