Why would it be considered a hate crime? From what ive seen she did it because she wanted another baby(and she's nuts obviously). If she didnt like white people why would she want a white baby?

I don't have the answer. Perhaps she was targeting a particular type of woman to "punish" by killing them and taking their child? Maybe she intended to sell the baby? I have no idea. I'm just wondering about her motive. This was obviously planned although the victim may have been random, but perhaps race was a factor.

Well, found another article that states the perp had recently suffered a miscarriage, but told her boyfriend she had delivered his child. I guess she was planning to convince the boyfriend that this was his baby with her. She also told her sister that she would complete the adoption of this baby with the state. This is horribly sick and terrible beyond words!

Actually, that's a media mix up. She's an LVN/LPN. I checked the TX Board of Nursing website. The media plays fast and loose with any details at all.
