More than two dozen people were shot across the city between late Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning.

One died and several others are in critical condition in shootings that left a total of 25 people injured, according to police. A 6-year-old girl was among the wounded................................

Gee, I guess only Criminals and Cops have guns in Chicago, Il. Hopefully the 2A rights groups will get better representation in Il during this upcoming election cycle.

So much for 'Gun Free' cities.

When I saw the title of the thread (and didn't know the city), my guess was either Chicago or Detroit. No guns allowed in Chicago?? Guess the criminals didn't get the memo.

It's a lot of gang violence. I've been gone 13 years. I was there last week for funeral I stocked up on Italian sausage, arrachera, Carne adobada and El Milagro tortillas on the way out of town.

It makes me sad to see what my city has become. I really miss the ethnic diversity, specialy the food. Italian, polish, Greek, Korean, Japanese, Thai, you name it. Most within walking distance of most neighborhoods. Museums, beaches, golf, and downtown. So much to do and see. Too bad we have to stay out or limit our trips due to their abuse of the 2A.

Well...that pretty well sucks. Glad I'm about a 5 hour drive away. And VERY glad we can now carry in WI in case any of the vermin decide to take a field trip.

Wow. Maybe it's time for all of the honest citizens to leave Chicago and turn administration of the city over to the criminals.

I bet none of the shootings were traced to legally owned firearms. Guess that leaves the illegal firearms doing the shooting. So much for the efficacy of gun registration.

Though registration earns a giant FAIL, the higher courts in Illinois claims it is essential. Now that is stuck on stupid.

It's no wonder Chicago is stuck in the "gangland" mentality of the 20's. Some of those people from that era are still voting.
