Media bias again (not surprised given the rag)

Found this today when getting something at the store. Not surprised, based on which "news outlet" published it because they are all about sensationalism. But c'mon.

Well I guess royalty can still own a shotgun in England. It's too bad nobody else can.

An informed source who is a friend of the mother-in-law's hairdresser of Kate's lady in waiting stated that without a doubt this was pure poppycock. "Kate has ample bodyguards with her always; and besides trying to conceal a shotgun ruins the lines of her gowns" the source confided to this reporter.

It was a totally stupid picture to try to build something that didn't exist. The pic obviously has her out shooting trap (most likely) and has nothing to do with self-defense. It's about as a relevant as a picture of a revolver and they state that the user used a Glock.

The only thing funnier than the stupid and misleading headlines they use, are the people who read their trash and believe it.

What's really strange is that the Olympic Shooting team from the UK have to leave their country to practice for the competition. Maybe if they put the Princess on the team they could practice at home.

Well, it is. It isn't GOOD media (like any of them are anyway today) but as defined:
    me∑di∑a
noun 1. a plural of medium.

    2. ( usually used with a plural verb ) the means of communication, as radio and television, newspapers, and magazines, that reach or influence people widely: The media are covering the speech tonight

    I'm just sayin...
