It’s been around a while but always good to see. People need to drop them an e-mail and let them know we appreciate their support

I think it is a very great idea, for many reasons.

They know the CCW is not very likely to rob with the weapon.
If there is a robbery, there is someone with a CCW, as they (not sure everywhere) do not have armed guards anymore. I'm sure a liability issue.

At the local BofA there is a "security guard" that stands OUTSIDE. It is strictly for appearance. I have gotten to know him pretty well and asked him "what are you going to do whne 4 men show up with AR's" His response "Run back to my truck and get my pepper spray".

+1 on sending an email. It would be pretty cool to have Mr. Banker sitting around with his fellow Bankers smoking cigar's talking about how much support he has received. Maybe others will follow suit.

NOT having NO GUNS signs isnt as helpful as HAVING pro 2A signs. The more the ignorant (meaning uninformed, not stupid) public sees, the higher their comfort level may be.

Great! Now if other businesses would accept that we are not "the big bad wolf" (collectively) and that no one will ever know that we are carrying unless lives are in danger. Suggest that we deluge the bank management with "at a boys".

I think he forgot to also mention that said pepper spray is still safely secured in it's original packaging sitting on top of his refrigerator 15 miles down the road. But by god he will return with it as soon as he finishes lunch and fills up at the gas station on his way back. (at least that is what I would do if I was in that situation.)

I'm pretty sure if I was confronted by 4 guys with ARs, I'd be running too.

    4 ARs vs. 1 pistol = RUN!!!

I bank at regions and suntrust, and I have just noticed in the last couple of visits that regions has the anti gun sign while the suntrust does not. I've wondered if suntrust allows cc or whatever. I always do the drive through with banks since I started carring though. I wonder how to go about finding out about suntrusts policies.

I recently opened a new account with a local savings and loan. While I was there, I noticed there was a large eagle statue on the counter. It was presented by the NRA and was traveling from bank to bank. I thought that was pretty cool. My next trip inside, I will look for any anti gun signs. My one trip so far I did not see any.

    Thumbs up

About the only thing that'll change a criminal's perspective on the chances of success: increased chances of targeted victims being able to effectively fight back.

Kudos to the leadership at that bank for accepting what is, instead of a fantasy that sounds good.
