Good: Homeowner shoots intruder
His lab woke him up. He grabbed his .22. Found the intruder in the upstairs bathroom, attending to nature, with his pants down.
Told the BG to freeze, BG decides to charge instead. Bad idea.

I guess the perp made a 'piss poor' decision.
Glad the family was OK...congrats to the canine defender!

That is really what one would say "caught with your pants down".
So glad the man...his family and the dog are ok.....sucks to be the criminal.

I'd shoot him too if he came at me without washing his hands! Ughh..
Why?? Because at the last second, the Police are minutes away.

What idiot burglar would stick around with the dog barking anyway. I would say he missed the ninja burglar training class.

I cannot remember the name of the movie, but there was one where the guy had his dog trained to attack the bad guy's crotch whenever he gave the command "NIXON!" Would have been a good time to use that command.
Oh, and goes to remind us that you never know when you may need that gun, and just because it is 5 am, that does not make it safe even inside your own home....
