Firefighters hold burglary suspect at gunpoint - San Antonio Express-News

A man accused of attempting to steal scrap metal from a southern Bexar County firehouse Wednesday was held at gunpoint by a firefighter until deputies arrived to arrest him.

Fire Chief David Crowley Jr. said he and others were at the firehouse on Martinez Losoya Road when two men in a pick-up drove up behind the building and began loading scrap metal and spare truck parts that belonged to the department.

Man, that is cool that an on duty FF can have his personal firearm there to be able to facilitate something like that. That is as it should be anyway, but here in Mi. my brother would have been in violation as an on duty FF and doing as the Texas FF did.
