Observation at the gun show yesterday

I went to the gun show in Salem, VA yesterday and heard a similar comment from several vendors.

I usually ask vendors how the show is going for them as I browse their tables. (occupational habit from being in sales, I guess) A common response yesterday was "I've already sold out of (insert caliber) ammo."

I sure hope that the recent atrocity in Colorado and the upcoming election doesn't create an ammo hoarding frenzy like in years past, but I have a feeling it's already begun.

I was just getting used to seeing ammo sections stocked, and enjoying the convenience of being able to easily find whatever I'm looking for.

<Mods/admin, please move if not in the appropriate section.>

Probably, just look how many people on here alone are freaking out. Luckily I've got a small stash to last me a few range trips.

LOL, I've got fox news on in the background. Just heard one of them talking about the guy buying 6,000 rounds online. He went on to say that isn't cheap, costing 6, 8 or tens of thousands of dollars. Better get it while its still cheap
The stupidity of some people NEVER ceases to amaze me.

There was already a shortage of guns and ammo this will only make to worse. Both will be hard to find and when you do the price will be higher.

I keep a certain amount of ammo on hand at all times. When something spooks the masses into another frenzy, I just shoot my 22s more. Never under-estimate the value of having a good selection of 22s.
